These Terms of Use govern access to and use of kiniunstudios.com.

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the website.

2. About the website

The website provides information about Kiniun Studios, its productions, projects in development, professional opportunities and titles that may be available for acquisition, licensing or distribution.

Website content is provided for general information and business-enquiry purposes. It does not constitute a binding offer, professional advice or a guarantee that any production, right, territory, opportunity, service or material will remain available.

3. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the website is owned by, licensed to or used with the permission of Kiniun Studios.

This includes:

  • The Kiniun Studios name and visual identity.
  • Logos and marks.
  • Text and page design.
  • Photographs and production stills.
  • Posters and key art.
  • Trailers and audiovisual material.
  • Production information.
  • Graphics and downloadable documents.
  • The website’s selection and arrangement of content.

No ownership or intellectual-property right is transferred to a visitor merely by accessing the website.

4. Permitted use

You may view the website for lawful personal, editorial or professional evaluation purposes.

You may share a normal link to a public page.

You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, adapt, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative works from website content without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits the use.

Press materials may be used only where they are expressly identified as approved for press use and must comply with any accompanying credit, territory, embargo or usage conditions.

6. Production information and availability

Production dates, cast and crew information, development status, festival activity, release plans, viewing availability, rights availability and territories may change.

We aim to keep public information accurate but do not guarantee that every item is complete, current or free from error.

A website statement that a title is available does not create an obligation to sell, license or distribute it. Any transaction is subject to due diligence, negotiation, approvals and a separate written agreement.

7. Screeners, sales decks and confidential materials

Screeners, sales decks, scripts, development documents and other non-public materials may be supplied only to recipients approved by Kiniun Studios.

A recipient must:

  • Use the material only for the approved evaluation purpose.
  • Keep access credentials and links confidential.
  • Not copy, record, download, share, publish or redistribute the material unless expressly authorised.
  • Not circumvent security, watermarking, expiry or access controls.
  • Comply with any additional non-disclosure or evaluation terms.

Access may be time-limited, recipient-specific, watermarked, refused or withdrawn at any time.

Submission of a request does not guarantee that access will be granted.

8. Enquiries and submissions

Submitting a website form does not create a partnership, agency, employment relationship, confidentiality obligation or binding agreement.

Kiniun Studios does not currently accept unsolicited scripts, treatments, story concepts or talent submissions through general website forms.

Do not send confidential creative material unless the studio has expressly requested it and agreed in writing to receive it.

9. External platforms

The website may link to streaming services, social networks, ticketing services, distributors or other third-party websites.

Kiniun Studios does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, pricing, privacy practices or terms. Access to an external service is governed by that service’s own policies.

10. Privacy

Personal data submitted through the website is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11. Website availability and disclaimers

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, freedom from all errors or the continued availability of external links.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Nigerian law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kiniun Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the public website or an external website linked from it.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

13. Action following misuse

We may restrict access, reject requests, revoke access to confidential materials, preserve relevant records or take other reasonable action where we believe the website, its forms or studio materials have been misused.

Serious misuse may be reported to the relevant service provider or competent authority.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use when the website, studio activities or legal requirements change.

The updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Subject to any mandatory legal rights or dispute-resolution requirements, disputes relating to the website or these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

16. Severability and waiver

If a provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.
