The story
Chika, an Igbo Christian medical student from a privileged Nigerian family, and Aminat, a Hausa Muslim who was married at fourteen and is now raising three children alone, are forced to hide together for twenty-four hours. As they rely on each other to survive, the assumptions separating them begin to fall away. Neither knows that the losses awaiting their families will bind them permanently.
